How TTSMint works
Clear answers about creating speech, managing Credits, and knowing what to expect.
Getting started
Can I try TTSMint before signing in?
Yes. Voice previews are available without an account. Sign in with Google or email when you want to generate your own text, download MP3 audio, or create subtitles. A first-time sign-in includes 40 one-time Credits that expire after 30 days.
Which languages and voices are available?
TTSMint currently offers 39 curated voices across English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish, including adult and child-style profiles. Match the voice locale to your text for the most natural result.
What can I download and adjust?
Generated speech is available as MP3. You can also export SRT or WebVTT subtitles and adjust speed, volume, and pitch before generation.
Credits & billing
How are Credits calculated?
With the current voice library, each started block of 100 Unicode characters costs 1 Credit. For example, 250 characters cost 3 Credits. Your balance is reserved before generation and released if generation fails.
Which plans are available, and do Credits expire?
Starter and Pro are monthly subscriptions; their Credits refresh after each successful renewal and do not roll over. The one-time Credit Pack is valid for 365 days. TTSMint uses the Credits that expire soonest first. See Pricing for current amounts and prices.
How do I cancel or manage a subscription?
Open Billing & Credits from your account menu. You can cancel an active subscription at the end of its current billing period or reactivate it before then. Plan switching, payment-method changes, invoices, and self-service refunds are not currently available.
Privacy, access & use
Are my text and generated audio stored?
TTSMint does not provide an audio library or generation history, and it does not write your text or audio into the Credits ledger. Your text is sent to the speech service to create the result; minimal account, usage, and billing records are kept to operate the service.
Why is sign-in required?
Sign-in protects full generation and downloads from abuse, keeps Credits and billing attached to the right account, and lets you restore your balance across sessions. Google sign-in requests basic identity details; email sign-in uses a one-time code. TTSMint never receives a Google or email password.
Can I use TTSMint in my projects or through an API?
You can use TTSMint for personal and creative projects, provided you have the necessary rights to your content and comply with applicable terms. The hosted service depends on third-party speech channels and has no enterprise SLA. Existing API integrations require an operator-issued Bearer key; public self-service API keys and API billing are not currently offered.
